'Recovery is important': Reading community celebrates Recovery Month with annual walk The community came together in Berks County in honor of Recovery Month.

Recovery coaching services walked shoulder to shoulder with community members, families, and survivors during the annual Recovery Walk — a powerful tribute to the strength of those battling addiction and the hope found in healing. With every step, they honored lives lost, celebrated lives reclaimed, and brought visibility to a journey too often walked in silence. Holding signs, offering hugs, and sharing stories of triumph and struggle, our amaizng team embodied the unwavering support that transforms recovery from an isolated fight into a shared mission. Their presence wasn’t just symbolic — it was a declaration: that recovery is real, help is here, and no one has to walk the road alone.

Join us on tomorrow , September 20 for our annual Recovery Walk! Walk will begin at 10:00 AM at Recovery Coaching Services at 505 Penn St. Reading, PA 19601 and will proceed about one-mile to the Berks RISE Center.

We are grateful for the incredible work that Hope Rescue Mission continues to do in our community—offering hope, healing, and pathways forward for so many.

It was an honor to come together in support of their mission and celebrate the impact being made every day. 🙌✨

On July 24th, our team had the honor of attending the 4th Annual Recovery Awareness Night at the Reading Fightin’ Phils game ⚾ — and we were proud to be one of the event sponsors!
