Scott Miller put out a strong piece on a topic that does not get enough practical attention in restoration.
A business that is worth buying usually has the same things a better business needs right now: clearer financials, leadership beyond the owner, stronger systems, healthier cash flow, and a way of operating that does not depend on one person holding everything together.
That is one reason we value Scott as an Educational Champion. He speaks to the business side of restoration in a way that is direct, useful, and grounded in what owners are actually dealing with.
