Veilka and Neo recently worked with Berks LaunchBox engineer Andrew Linares to complete a 3D upper-body scan and print a detailed physical likeness.

The project gave them an opportunity to explore how 3D scanning and printing can support customized product development, creative prototyping, and other future business applications. We love helping entrepreneurs experiment with new technology and turn possibilities into something tangible.

Goggleworks artist Birdie Zoltan recently came to the Berks LaunchBox for help bringing a vivid childhood memory to life through sculpture.

Growing up in a farmhouse, Birdie once turned on the faucet for a bath, only to discover the tub filling with mice. Her father handled the situation, but the unforgettable memory stayed with her.

Birdie created whimsical “box mice” with zipper tails and worked with Makerspace Engineer Jim Hong to 3D print the hands that will complete the scene.

We love seeing artists combine personal stories, creativity, and technology in such unexpected ways.
