Meet Maeve 💜
Maeve is a beautiful 3-year-old Great Dane with the sweetest soul and the kind of face you instantly fall in love with. She came to rescue after spending time in a commercial breeding situation and is now learning what it means to simply be loved, spoiled, and part of a family.
She is affectionate, goofy, gentle, and incredibly people-oriented. Maeve loves being near her humans, whether she’s exploring the backyard, going for walks, or curling up beside you on the couch for snuggles. She truly just wants to be included in everyday life and close to her people.
Maeve rides very nicely in the car and settles in well, especially if she has a cozy blanket nearby. She recently went to the groomer and did great for both bath time and nail trims. While she can be a little nervous with new experiences at first, she responds beautifully to patience, reassurance, and kindness.
Maeve is housebroken, well-mannered in the home, and ready to find a family of her very own. Because she would do best as the center of attention, she is looking for a home with no other dogs where she can feel safe, secure, and fully loved.
Maeve is spayed, gastropexied (stomach tacked), microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. She is currently being fostered in York Haven, Pennsylvania.
If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a huge heart and so much love to give, Maeve may just be your perfect girl.

Meet Julie!
Julie is a beautiful 6-year-old Goldendoodle with a gentle heart and so much love to give. While she may be shy and timid when meeting new people or adjusting to a new environment, those who are patient enough to earn her trust will discover a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be by their side.
Julie is crate trained and does well in her crate, but her favorite place is wherever you are. Once she feels comfortable, she becomes your shadow, happily following you from room to room and making sure she never misses out on spending time with her favorite people. Her foster family believes Julie is simply grateful to be included in whatever adventure comes next.
She enjoys walks and does well on a leash, though she could benefit from a little continued work on her leash manners. Julie gets so excited to explore the world with you that she may occasionally pull when she spots a bird or squirrel along the way. She is also an excellent passenger and rides calmly in the car, making her a wonderful companion for errands and everyday adventures.
Julie has a sweet way of asking for affection—she'll gently place her paw on your hand when she's looking for a little extra attention or love. She has done well with the other dogs that have come into her foster home, and has shown herself to be respectful by taking corrections from them well.
Julie is also wonderful with children and would make a fantastic family dog. When life gets a little too busy or overwhelming, she does a great job of quietly retreating to another room to decompress and recharge.
The ideal home for Julie will be one that understands that good things are worth the wait. She will need adopters who are willing to be patient, give her time to adjust, and allow her to build confidence at her own pace. In return, you'll gain a devoted best friend whose loyalty and love run deep.
If you're looking for a sweet, gentle companion who will happily accompany you through life's everyday moments, Julie may be the perfect addition to your family. Please apply at: https://www.zoeshouserescue.com
Julie is being fostered in Lancaster county. Any potential adopter will need to travel to meet her with any current family dogs.

"It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small
And the fears that once controlled me can't get to me at all
It's time to see what I can do,
To test the limits and break through
No right, no wrong, no rules for me...
I'M FREE!
Let it go, let it go
I am one with the wind and sky
Let it go, let it go" -Frozen
❄️ That's right, 👸 Queen Elsa, a 6 year old Samoyed, is free from her previous life of overbreeding and fear. She has a journey ahead to help her learn that not all people are bad. Elsa will require a patient adopter, one with shy rescue dog experience would be best.
❄️ Elsa is currently living with kids, but too many might cause her anxiety. She likely will do best in a quieter home, children over 10 preferred. She gets along with dogs, big and small, male and female. She's met some kitties and thought they were nice too.
❄️ Elsa is crate trained and potty trained (regression is expected with change). She is spayed and UTD on vaccines and preventatives. Elsa is approx 45 lbs, a petite gal.
❄️ If you think you're a match for this beautiful ice queen 👑 and can help continue to break her free to become the wonderful dog we know she can be, please apply today!

🐾 $5 FRIDAY FOR MEDICAL BILLS 🐾
Today we’re asking for something simple… but powerful.
Just $5.
That’s it.
Because when a whole community shows up, those $5 donations turn into:
✨ life-saving treatments
✨ emergency vet visits
✨ medications for dogs who have nothing and no one else
Right now, medical bills are one of our biggest needs.
The dogs don’t stop needing care… and we won’t stop showing up for them.
But we can’t do it alone.
🧡 If you’ve ever loved a dog
🧡 If you’ve ever rooted for an underdog
🧡 If you believe they deserve a second chance
Please consider donating $5 today.
🩵 Crabby Patty is a 2-year-old Bulldog who was pulled from another shelter after being surrendered by his owner. This crusty little guy is suffering from all sorts of skin conditions leaving him not only ye**ty but missing most of his fur and his skin being extremely irritated. If that wasn’t bad enough, he also has severe dry eye. He is getting tons of TLC, medicated baths, and meds to keep him comfortable as he settles in with his new foster family. How can you not fall in love with the grumpy little face!
🩵 Vivienne is a 4-year-old French Bulldog who came to us from a commercial breeder with vaginal prolapse, if you have ever seen this condition, you know how horrible it looks and can only image how painful it is. She was rushed into emergency surgery that same day. Our vet did an amazing job, and she looked so much better just hours after coming to us. She has been resting and healing and it’s hard to believe it is the same dog. Her foster mom says she is a little angle.
🩵 Halo is a 4-year-old Shih Tzu/Maltese mix that came to us as a surrender. This girl has been through a lot but is SUPER sweet. She was very matted when she came to us and not using her front leg. After a check up with the vet, some x-rays and a not so attractive trim we started to see the problem. This poor girl’s foot was so matted that underneath all the fur was raw skin and infection. She has cellulitis and her foot is being monitored closely to ensure it is healing with the treatment plan in place.
🩵 Chelsea is a 5-month-old Cavalier/poodle mix that also came from a commercial breeder. She was born with a heart defect, a hole in her heart. This week she underwent PDA surgery to repair that hole and improve her quality of life. We have been told she did beautifully during surgery and that she is resting comfortably. If she continues to do well, she will be allowed to come home later today or tomorrow. For the next few weeks, she will need to rest and heal, getting lots of snuggles and love.

🍀Meet Clover🍀
A sweet 3 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who takes her breed’s heritage as a professional lap warmer very seriously. Clover has truly never met a stranger; whether young or old, anyone is a candidate for her signature lap-hop and affection. She is a social butterfly who gets along with other dogs and loves playing with her toys and bones. Clover is also quite the food hound (with scrambled eggs being her favorite treat), and though she is missing a few teeth from a recent dental procedure, it doesn’t slow her down at mealtime one bit! While she is an incredibly easygoing dog, she is currently working on her boundaries; if you turn your back for a second, this goofy girl might just be found sitting casually on top of the dining room table, or jumping in your suitcase to join you on your weekend getaway. She absolutely loves roaming and exploring the backyard, so a fenced-in yard is a must for her forever home, alongside a watchful eye since she loves to hunt for local rabbits. Clover has never had an accident in her foster parent's house, is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and has a heart murmur that requires medication twice a day. She is otherwise an exceptionally low-maintenance pup who is ready to bring endless love and laughter to her perfect family. Clover might not have the longest life ahead of her, but she lives every single day to the absolute fullest, packing each moment with pure joy and she reminds us all to cherish every beautiful second.
Clover is being fostered in Montgomery County, PA. If you're interested, all household members will need to come for a meet and greet. Ready to meet your new good luck charm?

🎶 R-E-S-C-U-E… find out what it means to me! 🎶
Introducing Miss Aretha! She is a 5-year-old English Bulldog with the voice of an angel… if angels snored loudly, waddled dramatically toward snacks, and hauled around a dump truck-sized b***y everywhere they went.
Aretha is the total package; the easiest, low-energy, lovable, squishy, and a bit sassy when you need to smile (or mainly when she’s ready to eat or if she thinks you may have forgotten she exists) chunky gal. She’s missing one eyeball, but frankly, that just adds character.
This girl is happiest living the simple life: soaking up warm weather like a retired Florida grandmother, rolling over to beg for a belly rub, and occasionally relocating herself from one nap spot to another.
Aretha is crate trained, housebroken, dog friendly, and wonderfully unbothered by chaos. She’s happy to have canine siblings around, but she’s not looking to join the WWE smackdown in the living room.
She’s also been wonderful with children as young as 9–10 months old and would likely do just fine with cats too…mostly because there is absolutely zero chance she’s catching one if they decide to run.
Aretha is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and ready to find a family committed to helping her continue her weight loss journey while maintaining the dry eye care for her remaining eye. In return, she promises endless companionship, unmatched couch potato energy, and the kind of unconditional love only a slightly lopsided bulldog queen can provide.
If your dream dog is a dog that you may forget exists (until the loud snore reminds you) and is less “adventure partner” and more “rotisserie chicken-shaped emotional support roommate”, Aretha is ready to sing her way into your heart. 🎤
