This is a group project to inform people of the future of self-driving cars and the importance of why are making the leap forward.
75 Percent Of Americans Say No To Self-Driving Cars. This research was conducted by Global market research and consulting firm, Ipsos, attempted to figure out if consumers are really as in favor of self-driving technology as the car companies would have us believe. For the study, Ipsos surveyed 21,549 consumers from 28 countries between the ages of 18-24 between November 27th, 2017 to December 8th, 2017.
The US Patent and Trademark Office has published an Apple patent application that details a pretty neat VR system. Spotted by Patently Apple , it's meant to be used in vehicles -- including self-driving vehicles -- and Apple pitches it as a way to mitigate motion sickness. But the company also describes a lot of other interesting applications, many of which could be used to turn a standard ride in an autonomous car into a business meeting, a concert or an exciting, zombie-filled adventure
Even though Uber self driving car project is suffer from recent events it seems it hasn’t affect Waymo. On Tuesday, Waymo announced they’d purchase 20,000 sporty, electric self-driving vehicles from Jaguar for the company’s forthcoming ride-hailing service.
After the recent incident that happened in California with Uber self driving car that killed a pedestrian. It came up today that Uber won’t be renew it’s permit in California to test it’s cars. Is this a good thing or a bad ?
How much better should self-driving cars be than humans before the public accepts them?
Even if people could agree on the ways in which self-driving cars should be safer than humans, it’s not clear that people should be okay with self-driving cars when they first become only barely better than humans. If anything, that’s when tests on city streets should begin.

The governor of Arizona on Monday said he was suspending Uber's ability to test of self-driving cars on the state's roads following a fatal accident involving a pedestrian earlier this month. This is so that the company could test the technology to discover where problems was.
Who is responsible when a self-driving car kills someone ? Is it the company, supplier or the individual that was in the car ?
After the recent event with self driving cars, would you take a Uber or lyft that was fully autonomous ?

Today a female pedestrian was killed after being struck by an autonomous Uber vehicle in Arizona, according to ABC 15. In response, Uber has pulled all of its self-driving cars from public roads in the state as well as in the cities of San Francisco, Toronto, and Pittsburgh.
Does this hinder the process of self-driving cars and question the capabilities of the Information Systems ?
Even though we want self-driving cars, there are still some challenges ahead. Right now, autonomous cars are legal only in a few U.S. states, as regulators weigh how to best ensure their safe interaction with standard human-driven vehicles.
