Park Cleanup or Activism? Taking Down a Free Chickens Flyer 🐔🗑️
While doing a cleanup at a park on June 2, 2026, I came across a flyer advertising free chickens. In this video, I jokingly ask whether what I'm doing counts as a park cleanup or activism as I remove the flyer.
Sometimes a simple moment can spark a bigger conversation. Many animals are given away, abandoned, or treated as disposable when people no longer want them. Whether it's cleaning up litter or speaking up for animals, both are ways we can help make our communities better for animals and people alike.
This video is meant to be lighthearted, but it also highlights how often animals are viewed as objects instead of living beings with needs and value.
At Unity Animal Sanctuary, we work to help animals while also protecting the environments they live in through rescue, education, advocacy, and environmental projects.

Chewy Is Too Sweet to Ignore 💛🐷 | 191 Animal Rescue – Morganton NC
In this video, I'm spending a little time with Chewy, one of the sweetest pigs here.
While giving him some attention, I ask a simple question: Would you stop and pet him if you walked by?
I know I would 😄
Chewy is such a sweet boy and always makes it easy to stop for a few extra minutes and show him some love.
Sometimes the best moments are the simple ones.

Please call and call often. Justice needs to be done for all the animals involved!
🚨 ACTION ALERT FOR THE BLUE RIDGE LIBERATION PIGS 🚨
More than 160 pigs were pulled from a situation that never should have been allowed to happen.
This was not a small rescue. These animals required emergency medical care, testing, transport, food, bedding, neuters, spays, housing, and around-the-clock coordination just to survive.
Some of these pigs were so medically fragile they may not have lived much longer without intervention.
Blue Ridge Liberation stepped in after learning pigs were hungry, sick, terrified, and living in horrific conditions.
The person responsible for their care was Amy Mullins.
Authorities were aware of this situation before rescuers arrived. They know this case. They know these pigs suffered. They know the scale of what happened.
Yet we are still not seeing the accountability these animals deserve.
Behind the scenes, people are working tirelessly to push this case forward. Contact has been made with the state veterinarian’s office, county commissioners, state representatives, state senators, and House representatives.
But right now, it is not enough.
That is why we are asking the public to speak up.

Ask:
What is being done to ensure Amy Mullins cannot have animals again?
Why has there not been clear accountability after more than 160 pigs suffered?
Why did rescuers and the public have to step in to fund emergency care, transport, food, and medical treatment for these animals?
Be respectful. Be firm. Use your voice.
This is not harassment.
This is not threats.
This is public accountability.
These pigs deserved protection.
They deserved compassion.
And they deserve justice.
Amy Mullins should never again be allowed to have animals in her care.
Please call. Please share. Please help keep pressure on the people responsible for protecting animals.

Spot the Small One 😂🐷 | 191 Animal Rescue – Morganton NC
In this video, Pam is laying half on top of two much larger pigs while they all relax together 😄
I jokingly ask, “Can you tell which one is different?”
Right on cue, Pam stands up and completely gives herself away 😂
Moments like this always make me laugh — especially seeing the smaller pigs trying to fit in with the big crowd.

The Boys Were Watching Closely 😂🐷 | 191 Animal Rescue – Morganton NC
In this video, I’m giving Suki some belly rubs when she decides my foot is apparently the perfect place to lay 😄
Meanwhile, the boys in the neighboring pen are watching the entire situation with great interest.
Moments like this always make me laugh — one pig getting spoiled while the others look on like they’re missing out 😂
Suki is a sweet girl who absolutely loves attention and affection.

Anyone Can Help the Planet | Join the Movement for Animals & Earth 🌎
In this video, I’m walking a trail after finishing the park cleanups and talking about how anyone can help make a difference for animals and the planet.
You do not need to be rich, famous, or part of a huge organization to help. Even simple things like picking up trash on trails, speaking up for animals, educating others, or sharing important content can create real change over time.
I also ask whether any of you already do park cleanups or environmental activism in your own communities. Small actions add up when more people get involved.
I also talk about the growing Unity Advocacy Board, where both younger and older voices are coming together to brainstorm ideas that help animals, the environment, and the planet as a whole. We want more perspectives, more creativity, and more people who genuinely want to make a positive difference.

Third Cleanup Spot of the Day | Making Parks Safer for Wildlife 🌎🗑️
Today, May 31st, 2026, I visited the third cleanup location of the day during my park cleanup efforts.
Thankfully, there was very little trash to remove, which is always encouraging to see. It turned into a beautiful day for a hike and an easier cleanup while still helping make the park safer for wildlife and more enjoyable for everyone visiting.
Even small cleanups matter. Trash left in parks and natural areas can injure animals, pollute waterways, and damage ecosystems. Every bag of trash removed helps protect the environment and the animals who call these places home.
At Unity Animal Sanctuary, we believe helping animals also means protecting the habitats they depend on through environmental activism, cleanups, and community action.

Park Cleanup Day | First Trail Cleared on a Beautiful Day 🌎🗑️
Today, May 31st, 2026, I headed out for another park cleanup and tackled 3 different trails. This video shows the first trail cleanup of the day.
Thankfully, there was a lot less trash than normal, which was great to see. Every cleanup matters because litter harms wildlife, pollutes waterways, and damages the natural spaces that both people and animals depend on.
It was a beautiful day to be outside helping the environment and doing something positive for the planet.

In this video, I show what it can be like trying to get in and out of one side of the pig area 😄
With so many pigs laying around relaxing, it starts to feel more like an obstacle course than a walkway.
You have to carefully walk around some… then step over others near the gate.
The pigs, of course, are completely unbothered by any of this 😂
