😹 George has discovered catnip... but he's not quite sure what to do with it!
This was George's first time checking out a catnip toy, and his reaction was priceless. He spent more time trying to figure it out than actually playing with it!
Every cat has a different reaction to catnip, and watching them experience it for the first time is always fun.

One project is complete, which means it's time to focus on the next one. Every book, fundraiser, and project we create is designed with one goal in mind: **generating more passive income so we can rescue more animals and take on even bigger projects for the voiceless.**

**📖 Option 1 – Finish the Rescue Stories Book**
Recover the original rescue stories from my old computer (if I can remember the password 😅). If not, I'll rewrite them from memory so these incredible animals and their stories are never forgotten.
**🎨 Option 2 – Launch the Unity Animal Sanctuary Children's Coloring Book Series**
A series of fun coloring books featuring real sanctuary animals, hidden Easter eggs, educational facts, photos, and the true story of one featured animal in each book. The goal is to help children learn about compassion while raising money to help more animals.
**❤️ Option 3 – Launch Our Patreon**
Create a community where supporters receive exclusive videos, rescue stories, behind-the-scenes content, poems, photos, and other updates in exchange for monthly support. This would provide a more reliable source of funding for future rescues.

🐱❤️ I was just trying to get a good look at his face...
This little rescue kitten had other ideas. While he was sitting on my lap, I kept trying to film his adorable face, but he just kept turning around because all he wanted was more pets and attention.
After a little patience, I finally got the shot!
Watching him go from a scared little kitten to one that seeks out affection has been an amazing journey. Every day, he grows more confident, and every day he's one step closer to his forever home.

Piglet Belly Rubs Are the Cutest! 🥹🐷 | 191 Animal Rescue – Morganton NC
This video was filmed many months ago during the early days of caring for the rescued pigs.
While spending time with the piglets, I started petting them through the fence. One little piglet was so relaxed that I reached underneath and started giving them gentle belly rubs.
Piglets are naturally curious, and moments like these help build trust while giving them positive interactions with people.
Watching them relax and enjoy a little affection never gets old. It's amazing how something as simple as a belly rub can help a rescued animal feel safe and loved. 💛🐷

In this video, I offered this little rescue kitten some toys, but he had other plans. Instead of playing, he just wanted love and affection.
Because he's still so young, this is the perfect time to help him learn that people are kind and that human attention is something to enjoy. Every day, he's becoming more confident and more ready for his forever home.

In this video, I placed this little rescue kitten on my lap to spend some quiet time with him. He hopped off after a few moments... but then something wonderful happened.
A few seconds later, he chose to come back onto my lap for more attention.
That simple decision is a huge milestone. It shows he's beginning to feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

When I reached into the kitten's crate today, he didn't hiss or pull away. Instead, he moved a little closer and even accepted some gentle belly rubs.
Moments like this may seem small, but they're a big milestone. Every positive interaction helps him learn that people can be trusted and that he's safe.
He's already got a loving adopter waiting for him next month, and it's amazing to watch his confidence grow one day at a time.
