Road racing on a car track for the first time!!! It was an exciting 2 days of racing. First day was a lot of learning the track and understanding that road is not about passing it is about drafting. Had 3 practices went out for the 20 minute feature and on the first lap had someone run into my back bumper and I ended up in the back of ambulance ๐Ÿš‘.... Scary for Mom and Dad and Poppop and Mom Mom because everyone came off the track except Sara and with such a big track we couldn't see what was happening and couldn't see her kart or her.

Fortunately she was fine a little sore... The kart not so much. Spent most of the day Saturday fixing the kart, motor change and all.

Sunday fresh mind and out we went. Two practices today and were able to have a clean feature and finish 5th. A solid race for our first time. Proud of what we did and what we came back from. All this with a slight fever ๐Ÿค’ all weekend but she fought through and wanted to race.

Thanks to our sponsors for helping us out and getting us to different race tracks!

Sara will be running at Summit Point for the first time this coming weekend in some exciting full car track racing with her kart. We have been told she will go speeds she has never gone before. We are looking forward to the experience. Can't wait to tell you all about it!

In just under 2 weeks we will be back racing for our penultimate rounds of the season. On July 25-26 The Shenandoah Circuit at Summit Point Motorsports Park will set the stage for rounds 7 & 8 of the 2026 Woodbridge Kart Club season. Regarded as the most technical track on the road race calendar the 13 corner clockwise road course always puts on great racing.

For the first time in club history we are welcoming the Northeast Karting Challenge to one of our events as this will be a points race for them in select classes bringing more talented racers to this event.

Another first time for WKC will be the introduction to rolling starts for most single speed classes which should only make the racing even better.

With over 100 entries now and more rolling in we expect this to be an event you wonโ€™t want to miss. Pre-entry remains open on Alpha timing linked below with early pricing ending on Monday July 20th make sure to get registered ASAP. Hope to see you all there!

We have decided not to go racing today. We know that they are racing but the weather is still super iffy and if they decide to cancel or wait it out our long trip 2hours and 40mins is a lot for one way. So we are home today! Bummed but we feel it is the best decision.

**The race did end up being cancelled**

ITS RACE DAY!
This time of year there are chances of thunderstorms most afternoons. Chances are below our cut-off point and the bay usually breaks them up for us. So we are aiming to go racing. We will check again just before the drivers meeting to see if we need to modify the schedule.
Club race #5.
3:45 - Drivers meeting
4:00 - Practice
6:00(Approximately) JuiceBox Division race and heat races begin. Followed by our 20 lap finals.
Lots of new drivers on the podium this season. Who will take the top step tonight?
Spectators are free and we have a great concession stand! Come on out!!

So much fun racing under the light Nicholson Speedway Inc last night. Took the course backwards last night which was fun and it was our first time in the sportsman class racing this direction. Had a fun evening and kept getting better each time out, I came home with 2nd place!! It felt so good to be back on the track again. Since we raced late last night we will not be racing today.
Thanks to all my sponsors for always cheering me on! I love doing this and it was a blast last night!!

No racing today!!

Sorry for the delay. We were going back and forth trying to decide. We really wanted to get our racers on track. Unfortunately we have made the decision to cancel.
We have a rain make-up race already planned for July 11 which will be backwards to make up a previous race that was canceled. We are looking into making that date a double header. Which we would make up the previous race in the backwards direction then make up this race in the normal direction. More information to come!
We hope all our racers have a safe and great upcoming holiday and good luck to our members going out of state to race next week.
