Being in the industry for 10 yrs has taught me that not everyone wants Brooks Shields brows, and that is ok!

Nano Microblading ✨

Couple things I want to discuss about this post.
1. Her brows are fab
2. You can see a very prominent muscle pull on her right brow. With this, I would NEVER match her brows to each other while her muscle is tense. This would be disastrous for sooooo many reasons. I told her that Botox would be able to adjust that, but I cannot push someone to do that. If she ever decided to get Botox, her brows would even out and that muscle would relax, making them even.

I think some people get confused with the understanding that getting your brows done make everything symmetrical. While we work towards that as much as possible, and I did make adjustments, I will never go that far past her natural growth.

Where your natural brows sit, are where they are meant to be. If I were to adjust her brows to a match the other one, I would be moving her entire brow, causing an unnatural placement, only resulting in horrible brows for the future.

If you have a muscle that is prominent on one side more than the other, Botox would be the best option to fix. Easy tweak. If that’s not an option, massaging that muscle to loosen up that area would help.

Her muscle only pulls when she’s concentrating, I’ve noticed. When she was sitting, talking, resting, her brows relaxed, causing them to be even. (As you can see in the end photos)

It is crucial that you analyze your clients entire face, looking at their facial movements, prominent muscles before you start the procedure. Sitting down and working on her without that, would have resulted in a very bad job.

✨Combo Brow Correction ✨

Loved being able to give my client exactly what she was looking for. She wanted haistrokes, light shading and an overall natural look. She had been to 3 other artists that said she couldn’t do hairstrokes because she had existing pigment. Her pigment was very very faded. I didn’t see a limit to the visibility of the hairstrokes

We also brought down her arch, which I found to be quite unnaturally high for her facial structure and brow placement.

Now, this situation isn’t possible for everyone but it’s amazing when it works out!

This client wanted natural brows for years to come! Who doesn’t?! We kept with her natural shape as much as possible. Adding to areas that she wanted to improve.

When deciding on which technique to use on her, I anger skin. With it being dry/normal and having a reasonable understanding that the pigment has to fade before coming for Touchups, I decided to go with Microblading! Microblading is amazing on the right skin type.

Healed result will soften, be 20-30% less pronounced and neutralize in color to match her existing hair color!
