Watch out for the latest texting scam. Many people with Anthem (and there may be others) Medicare Advantage plans received texts today asking for their policy number to "activate" their plans. This is a scam. Do not fall for it from any company.

Here are some of the latest scams to watch out for. Anyone who calls you or contacts you online about your stimulus check is likely a scammer. Also, if you get an official looking check in the mail for something like $3,000 instead of $1,200, expect a call. They will tell you its an overpayment and ask you for the difference in gift cards or money transfers. Anyone who contacts you and eventually asks for gift cards or money is trying to scam you.

FYI – There are no coronavirus home test kits either, another scam.
