Fun with the frost today. I learned its called Rime Ice when fog freezes. These were all taken in my yard. Which one is your favorite?

It was exciting to see the Aurora Borealis again! I need to plan out a better location though.

I was in the Bighorns at the end of June, and while the wildflowers were absolutely putting on a show, the real highlight wasn’t on the trail—it was behind our hotel.

There, in a quiet little pond, stood a moose. Just casually dunking her head under the water, munching on moss, and completely unbothered by the small crowd of photographers gathered to admire her. It was one of those cool moments that reminds you to always keep your camera close. You never know when nature will put on a show of its own.

Winter in the Badlands ❄️

There’s something unique about hiking alone in the early morning—just you, the quiet landscape, and the crisp winter air. Two miles into my hike, surrounded by the rugged beauty of Badlands National Park, I stopped in my tracks. In the distance, I heard the howling of coyotes echoing through the canyon!!

I have to admit—I was a little nervous so I called my Mom! Later, I stopped by the ranger station to ask what to do in situations like that. The ranger just laughed and said, “Make some noise—they’re more scared of you than you are of them.” Hmm… is that really true?? Either way, it was an unforgettable moment!

Most of these photos are actually from the evening before, but I had to share that story!
