We finally got a chance to eat at family-owned Mexico Tipico. It's less than two miles from the cabin and the parking lot is always full. Now we know why. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is bright & fun and the food is delicious! We definitely recommend it!

On a recent drive from the cabin toward town, I was reminded there's a reason they have those Bighorn Sheep Crossing signs.

Canyon Lake Park is a beautiful city park on the western edge of Rapid City, just minutes from the cabin. You can drop a line in the water, walk along the lake or picnic in one of numerous areas throughout the park.
