Today we recognize Indigenous Peoples’ Day — a time to honor the strength, creativity, and resilience of Indigenous communities.

This piece, Transmutation by , was created in partnership with Arts on the Point and the Native American and Indigenous Studies Program.

The two buffalo skulls stand as symbols of both loss and renewal. Thousands of ribbons, each tied by hand, carry messages of remembrance and hope from our community.
