My Story
Hi there, my name is Mykhaylo Rad or Mike for short. I was born in a town in Western Ukraine. Wanting a better life for my family and I - we moved to the United States in 1999. I spent years working at different jobs before I joined the Elite Countertop Granite Company team. In only 3 years I was promoted to the position of shop foreman where I discovered my passion for making others happy - starting with their kitchen!
After working as the foreman for 8 years, I decided I wanted to expand my skills set and started my own granite company in 2012. I began the Rad Rocks Granite Company in the Raleigh area and love the work I do each day.
On the side - I love to fish, hunt, and make gifts out of wood and granite in my free time.
I love providing my customers with fast (2-3 day), high quality granite countertops and services that will put a smile on their face!!!
