North Raleigh Lions Club

Lions Dave Fish and Past District Governors Ron and Barbara Beltran volunteered at Special Olympics at Ravenscroft School on May 30. Lions Motto is ‘We Serve’ and North Raleigh Lions serve their community in many many ways.

District Governor Dwayne Turner presented 100% Awards at the District S Awards and Installation of Officers on June 6 at the Pilot Lions Club. North Raleigh Lions received 100% awards for: Club Excellence, President (President Bob Fehling), Secretary (Lion Shirley Isenhour), and Treasurer (Lion Dave Fish - pictured above). Officers had to meet a set of criteria to receive awards. Way to go North Raleigh!!!

The proverbial Mutt and Jeff, aka PDG Allen Swaim (Wendell Lions) and PDG Barbara Beltran (North Raleigh Lions) sharing a joke at the NC Lions State Convention in Greensboro, April 17-19. Fun time was had by all Lions and guests.

As part of one of the Lions focus areas (environment), the North Raleigh Lions cleaned up Carolina Pines Park on April 11, 2026. Weather was perfect, and it was a win-win serving the community and enjoying this beautiful park.

The North Raleigh Lions had fun assembling grab-n-go snack bags for firemen at a local fire station at our April 6 club meeting. A variety of individual wrapped goodies were donated by members.
