Show up for the Durham community with us to demand the removal of fake clinics like Gateway Women’s Care. Did you know these centers are funded by redirecting taxpayers’ money away from legitimate sources of care like community health clinics and r**e crisis centers ($20 million to be exact)? Hear it from the state representative pushing back: Rep Julie von Haefen. She will be on site at our picket to tell us more about a bill she is introducing to oppose state funding for anti-abortion centers.

This May Day, Triangle DSA took to the streets in Raleigh and Durham in solidarity with thousands of workers from across the state, country, and world to say workers, not billionaires, hold the power. 💪 May Day, or International Workers’ Day, commemorates an 1886 strike for an 8-hour work day led by American workers, now celebrated across the globe🌹What did you march for this May Day? ⤵️

Another abortion care kit party for the BOOKS 🩷 Last month the Abort Fake Clinics campaign collaborated with several reproductive justice organizations to deliver reproductive mutual aid to the triangle.

The lack of access to care in our communities drives people to these crisis pregnancy centers (fake clinics) for things like free pregnancy tests. Our campaign works to put that and more into the hands of people seeking care, disrupting the demand for AAC services.

Reproductive justice is about not only choice, but access- we won’t stop until we have both 💪 **kfakeclinics

The numbers are in… last night’s Dance for Cuba fundraiser was a massive success! 💃🇨🇺 We danced, we built community with DSA and non-DSA folks alike, and most importantly… we raised over $1,900 to support DSA’s shipment of medical supplies to Cuba!

Join for a salsa, bachata, and cumbia dance lesson from 7 to 7:30pm. From 7:30 on, it’ll be an open dance floor with DJ Sifi! spinning some Latin dance favorites. Your $10-$20 sliding scale cover will support a fundraiser to purchase and ship medical supplies to Cuba organized by DSA International.
