This sound and image piece was done remotely, a collaboration between one of the coming designers for the 2017 Redress Raleigh fashion show to be held on August 18 at CAM. The audio narration and images were done by the designer, Susan Sharpe of Greenville, S.C., I did the software work combining the images and sound.

For anyone wondering about the status of the Fall color in the Blue Ridge..here are two shots taken today, 10/12. I'd estimate peak is about 5-9 days away, if they get any rain or wind between now and then the color will be diminished. The bright blue skies and moderate temperatures are great!

A compilation of sounds from the Wide Open Bluegrass Festival held in Raleigh, sounds recorded on Saturday, October 1. Musical groups performing were: Flatt Lonesome, Sierra Hull on mandolin and the Jeanette Williams Band on the Davie Street stage.

Flatt Lonesome received three IBMA awards in 2016. Sierra Hull started performing at age 11.
