After 6 years in th U.S. Army, I had tried to work at numerous jobs, but found something lacking. Finally, in 2014, I took the leap and started up, and i havent looked back since. Its been a while. The shop has been busy with a bunch of classes and commission work. Hopefully i can get myself a little more motivated to actually take pictures of things.

Doing a little chasing and repose work. Copper coins that will be set into the pommels of a couple swords. Still in the rough stages, but not going tok bad.

Between the winter weather we had this past weekend, frozen pipes, the upcoming winter weather we are expecting this weekend, a wake for a family member and a cold for me, the shop will be closed through the weekend until Tuesday February 3rd.

I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause customers. But I will be back at the shop soon enough and will be back to work.

As always, dont hesitate to contact me if you are looking for work to be done, or to book a class. Id be more than happy to do what i can.

Thanks Everyone

Tree Branch handrail finished and installed on the 1st day of the year. The customer was super patient with me working on these handrails. I think they came out fantastic.

Good times happening out at the Heritage Forge this year. Its always hectic keeping everything running, but also great to see folks I dont get to see very often.

4 days left. If you havent made it to the NC State Fair yet, there is still time. And when you do come out, stop in to the forge and say hi!
