NC CAP is proud to welcome our first cohort of Burroughs Wellcome Fund STEM Pathways Fellows!

These talented young people are the pilot cohort! Through the Fellows program, NC CAP is training budding educators as near peer mentors and STEM facilitators for partner out-of-school time programs across NC.

The Fellows will learn through a comprehensive pre-service training, hands-on learning at partner sites, and ongoing professional development through a community college course.

These young people are not only exploring their own career paths but serving as positive role models for students in NC and meeting the needs of out-of-school time programs across our state. Through their leadership these new Fellows are changing the face of what service can look like and NC CAP couldn’t be more proud!
