I’m excited to share my plans, but I gotta make more progress first. If things turn around for us soon, like I feel they might, I’ll be able to dive a lot deeper into some creating!

As a Circle of the Moon Druid with anxiety, ADHD, and -1 charisma, sometimes I prefer to stay in Wild Shape as long as I can after combat. Not in case we get caught up in combat again (ok MOSTLY not but it’s a good excuse), but so I’m not expected to have to talk to anyone after..

I’ve been working on a lot of ready to ship faux fur pieces that are multicolored and layered so I can use more of my smaller scraps I’ve been holding on to. These two pieces each have a fur included that I only have left in very small remnants now and haven’t been able to find again, so it’s unlikely I’ll remake these exact pieces once sold. I particularly love the grey and white dire wolf inspired one. I’m tempted to keep her for myself, but she’s currently listed in the shop so someone buy her so I can make room to make more!

My main cosplay focus this year is perfecting Ciri by DragonCon, and creating an ambitious prop for her, but I’ve also been wanting to do more horror cosplay. I’ve been playing Resident Evil Requiem since it came out last Friday, and I’m loving it. My favorite zombie by far (so far. Just got to the Leon POV in Racoon City) has been the singing zombie Selena Corey. She’s sooooo creepy, and I love the white/blood red contrast in her design. She’ll be inexpensive to make, and not take up too much time, plus give me some more experience in horror makeup. I really want to do the contacts though, and I’ve heard horror stories. Gonna research the safest/best brand, so cosplay friends knowledgeable about contacts, I’d love some recs!

Just popping in to put it out into the universe that 2026 will be the year I finally make one of my bucket list cosplays. I always thought Lulu was outside of my skill level, but I don’t care about that anymore. These days I’m like, might as well try. Looking at all the details, the most difficult thing for me at this point in my “career” would be the wig. I’m gonna do it. At least until something else disrupts my cosplans, as it always does. Wasn’t I talking about Harding this time last year? And then I saw that Witcher 4 trailer…… 😅
