Why Coastal Calling, you ask?

I’ve always felt my heart drawn to the ocean. It’s where I can take my biggest exhale, feel most at peace, and always be in awe of God’s beauty.

I may not live in a beach town anymore, but I love bringing a little bit of the coast into my own home here in Raleigh, NC. My hope is to bring your home that same sense of peace you feel when your toes first hit the waves, no matter where you live!🌊

Throughout the next few months, I’ll be launching print collections from different coastal towns located all along the east coast and all the way down to the Caribbean☀️

I can’t wait to show you more and bring the coast into your home!

The first official launch will be OCTOBER 12th!!! And next week I’ll be dropping some sneak peeks into the first set of photos over on my Instagram (linked below!) Be sure to follow along on so you don’t miss a thing☺️

After nearly two years and a reschedule (thanks, 2020), I finally was able to capture Casey and Brandon’s wedding day! So thankful for this gorgeous open-air venue making it safe to gather once again. Hitting the road today for wedding!! I am sooo excited to finally meet her and her fiancé! They originally booked me back in 2019 for their 2020 wedding which got pushed back to 2021! So it’s been a long time coming for these two and I can’t wait💕💕

➡️ ”Oh...that’s cool I guess.”
➡️ “So like...a hobby?”
➡️ “Can you even make a real living doing that?”
➡️ “But that will never be a full time thing right?”
➡️ “Everyone does photography these days.”
➡️ “There’s not a whole lot to it, you just need a nice camera.”

These are all things people said to me when I told them I’m starting a photography business. Did it sometimes get to me? For sure. But at the end of the day, you just need to go where God’s calling you. Eventually those same people will notice how far you’ve come. and if not, does it really matter anyways? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Find your people: the ones who are going to cheer for every little victory. They’ll be the same ones who will remind you what you’re capable of when you hit the inevitable bumps in the road.

So in case you need to hear this today...you 👏🏼 can👏🏼 do👏🏼 this👏🏼 (whatever “this” means to you right now)

What a memorable way to kick off the 2021 season! Thanks to an amazing vendor team and the best bride and groom, we were able to roll with the punches and completely change up the wedding plans last minute! They weren’t going to let the rain steal their joy on wedding day 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 so thankful and happy to have been a part of it! Lindley Sytz

We’re off to a great start, fam! 2021 has been filled with so many amazing sessions already and today is my first 👏🏼 wedding👏🏼 of the year👏🏼 !! Saying I’m excited would be an understatement😊️
