I’ve been enjoying my past few months at
It has been fun to challenge my design style, and to spend time in community with my fellow florists!

My life took a turn at the end of last year when I moved closer to Greensboro to help my family take care of my aging grandfather. Coincidentally right around that time, English Garden contacted me for a few freelancing days and has now turned into a longer endeavor 💖

I’m really grateful for the explosion in community that I’ve gained, both at English garden and moving in with four of my closest friends in our Big Gay House (peep the last photo for their beautiful faces on our family soup night✨)

I’m excited for 2026, and my Flowers by Tree weddings as well!

I love working with BB - from 30 MPH wind gusts to blaring sun, the team handled every curveball with grace and we were all really happy with and proud of the end results 🥹

Arrangements for and her crew’s dinner night 1 at 💐

Inspired by her song WILDFLOWER(and wild spirit), as well as her blue and orange tour colors, these arrangements were a joy to make and I’m grateful to for including Flowers by Tree in such a special night 💕

If we learned anything through Hurricane Helene, it’s that there’s truly no greater power than the power of community.

In the Triangle and in agriculture communities, especially this week, we are no strangers to rapidly changing or extreme weather, but I think we can all agree this summer has been hitting particularly hard. Especially for our friends in Mebane. They are on water restriction, with businesses having to close and families having to limit their drinking, bathing and cooking water.

Our neighbors in Mebane need us to come together for them, for their kids, for their pets. I am bringing a carload of water to Mebane on Sunday morning, and I need your help to fill my Juke with water!

I’m accepting water donations outside of the flower shed until Saturday 7/12 at 8pm. If you feel so compelled and donating is within your means, please feel free to stop by anytime dusk until dawn.my car (Daisy Duke the Juke) will fit plenty of cases 🌼 😊

With all of the intensity of the world, let’s meet this moment with compassion and do what we can with what we have. The greatest difference we can make, we can only do together. 🩷

I’m not sure how many Greensboro people I have on here, but please please please spread the word!

My brother is an absolute powerhouse. He has spent damn near every waking moment for years focusing on his community, and when Helene hit he tirelessly planned and executed relief efforts. Trailers on trailers of supplies to our friends in WNC.

It is HOT, yall. And Trent is strapping cases of water to his bike to help the ones that need it most.

So… what can you do to help??

1. Share this post!! Even if you aren’t around the area, it’s a small state and it will reach people that are nearby.

2. Volunteer! Even if this inspires you to keep a cooler in your car with some frozen water bottles to pass out on your commute, no act is too small.

3. Donate! Bring water bottles, electrolytes, ice packs, etc to the designated Greensboro locations or to your local food fridge/soup kitchen/food pantry.

4. Follow the Greensboro Supply Drive on Facebook and keep the traction moving!
