Franklin visited Crystal Coast Family Practice in Morehead City on September 18,2013 for a CPP assessment. Melissa Jones, Patient Services Representative is showing the tablets they use for patient registration.

Terri Gonzalez, Director of Practice Improvement at NCMS Foundation attended an initial meeting with CPP participant Dr. Ghandari Loomis and Practice Manager, Laura Justice on Tuesday, September 24. The practice is in the process of achieving PCMH recognition with NCQA and Terri will be providing assistance to the practices throughout the process.

Terri Gonzalez was onsite at Murphy Medical Center on September 21 where CPP participant Rosemary Chickos, general surgeon is providing services to the community.
The mission statement of the Murphy Medical Center is: To provide our communities with high-quality, patient-centered care, so it is only fitting that they are working on their PCMH recognition and will be able to tap into the resources offered through the CPP consulting services.

Also while in Murphy Terri had the pleasure of meeting NC Senator Jim Davis from the district.
