Busy season is in full swing and it brings me so much happiness to see so many of my amazing families for photos. I wanted ot pause really quick with fall/Christmas photos though and share this absolutely stunning bride. Brooke and Nick got married on Wednesday and then yesterday we quite literally scaled a mountain together in order to get beautiful images. When I met Brooke (at another wedding) her personality just shined. She was fun and energetic. She doesn't take anything too seriously and rolls with every punch thrown her way. She is kind and extremely gracious. Yesterday I saw her as an encourager and someone who looks at every challenge and is ready to conquer it. Yesterday will forever be engrained in my memory as the view was spectacular but my time with Brooke and Nick hiking up the mountain was just as special. May God bless their union and continue to grow them closer together as husband and wife.

I have some of the most beautiful clients! This momma is expecting a precious baby boy and she is just the sweetest thing. We met last year and I just adore her and her family. I can't wait to meet their precious boy and celebrate their family growing.

Twinkle twinkle little star how I wonder what you are..... This precious beautiful baby came to see me and was such a pro at newborn photos. She slept and smiled and was just absolute perfection for her photos. I am so pleased at how her entire gallery came out and I can't wait to share all the photos with you.

How beautiful is this mom with her precious boys?! She wanted a wooded session because she loves spending time treking in the woods with her kiddos. I just love how this session came out. It is vibrant and simple and real.

Christmas is in the air! I can't believe we are 5 days into October and things are picking up quickly. If you haven't booked your Christmas session message me for details on what's available as things are becoming limited. How sweet is this little baby bear. He is such a beautiful baby with the sweetest parents.

I have always loved a Scottish Highland cow.... they are gentle giants and their shaggy coats just make them so loveable. Trouble has got to be my absolutely favorite cow ever and every time I am at the farm I joke with the owner that I am going to put Trouble in my SUV and take him home with me (boy wouldn't my husband be shocked haha). This little guy knows his name, he loves treats, follows aroudn the humans who love him deeply and just spreads joy wherever he goes.

Owen is about to be 4 and he LOVES animals and farm life. He is funny and gets excited and he snuggled right up to Trouble right away.

The combination of this beautiful almost 4 year old boy and the most loveable creature created magic and I just have to share how sweet these two are together.

Also if you have not been to Lazy Hound Farm in Zebulon, NC you need to go! It is such a wonderful place and the animals are so sweet. This weekend, they have a Harvest Festival with pumpkins, hay rides, animals, swings, etc. There will be food trucks and more. Go check it out, you'll love it!

I have been photographing this family for almost 5 years. I am sure I say this often but I am seriously lucky to get to do something that I love every day. I have had the joy of photographing each of their precious girls and it is a joy to see their family grow.

I am in denial that summer is ending. I LOVE fall but there were just too many wonderful summer sessions to share and I have been way too busy to share them. This precious little one has sunshine roots and we have to show them off with a little orange love.

Summer is in the rear view mirror however I can't help but wish there was a bit more time to soak in the beauty of a shallow river bed, listening to the splashing and giggles of children.
