The debate is over: Rod Brind'Amour is the best coach in the NHL. 🌀 Plenty of national hockey "knowers" completely buried the Carolina Hurricanes following high-profile departures like Jake Guentzel and Mikko Rantanen. They blamed the aggressive system. They blamed the demanding structure. They claimed you simply couldn't win a Stanley Cup in Raleigh without top-heavy superstar talent. Yet, the Canes were the ones hoisting the silver chalice. Having individual superstars is great, but as the 2026 champions just proved, a deep, disciplined culture is the ultimate way to win.
