Bringing music to life for the Raleigh community since 1978. From an initial roster of 30 members, we have grown into a group of more than 70 musicians.
The Raleigh Concert Band was founded in 1978 to give local musicians an opportunity to perform music composed for large wind ensembles. We perform around the city at a variety of venues, from the Capitol Tree Lighting Ceremony to outdoor concerts at the Raleigh Little Theatre Rose Garden and Pullen Park. Thank you to everyone who came out to our fundraiser at City Barbeque yesterday! With your support we were able to raise over $300. This is an incredible accomplishment and this financial support helps do things like purchase new music, rent venues, and maintain our equipment!
