Both professional hockey and international soccer are taking over Downtown Raleigh! โฝ ๐
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is underway, and there are plenty of places to catch the action around downtown. Head to Moore Square Thursday through Sunday for City of Raleigh - Government's Soccer Fan Fest, where World Cup matches will be shown live. Including the highly-anticipated United States vs. Paraguay face-off on Friday!
Looking for a different watch party vibe? Downtown Raleigh bars and restaurants such as The Davie, Raleigh Times Bar, The Brass Tap - Raleigh, Ole Sports Bar & Lounge, Cuya Cafe, and others will be showing World Cup matches throughout the tournament.

After the success of the watch parties at Moore Square with Downtown Raleigh Alliance, the Official Hurricanes Watch Party has moved to Red Hat Amphitheater, hosted by City of Raleigh - Government!
Join us for Game 5 on Thursday, June 11th ๐
Doors open at 6:30 PM and puck drop is at 8 PM.
Game day calls for great food, cold beverages, and hometown pride! Enjoy Canes-themed items on the menus at the bars and food truck. Come hungry - weโll have the Red Hat Amp food truck and concessions cooking up some face-off favorites with and joining in on the fun!
If youโre joining us at the Amp, wear your favorite Canes gear and get ready to cheer as loud as you can! This event is free and open to the public - rain or shine. Leave your chairs at home - we have you covered! Weโll have seating in Sections 1-7, or bring a small blanket to sit on the lawn. Lawn chairs are not available for rent at this event.
