Raleigh Rescue Mission

Help us fill The Growing Place with learning, laughter, and joy! 🌟

As more women and children move into The Garden, we’re excited to open new classrooms in October—and you can help make them feel welcoming from day one.

Your gift can place books on shelves, stock learning stations with activity supplies, and brighten the days of the young children we serve. Their stories are just beginning, and your kindness can make a lasting difference.

Little learners are growing, playing, and thriving at The Growing Place! 🌱✨

Quality childcare is a priority at Raleigh Rescue Mission. From welcoming infant rooms with cribs and an outdoor play space to caring teachers who bring creative play to life, we are ready to support mothers and their children when they ask for help.

Our full-time child learning center is licensed by the North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education—helping ensure strong health, safety, and educational standards for every child we serve.

Together, we’re creating a safe place where children can learn and families can move toward brighter, more stable futures.

As evening settles over The Garden, a beautiful new chapter is beginning!

On September 1, women and children moved into their new home—a place where new routines, new skills, and new opportunities can take root. At The Garden, they will find healing, comfort, and hope as they build strong, stable futures and take meaningful steps toward independent living.

Together—with faith, compassion, and the support of our community—we are helping overcome situational homelessness and opening the door to hope for generations to come.

Make a difference—become a Jobs for Life mentor! 🌟

Encourage Phase 3 clients as they build confidence and prepare for employment. As a mentor, you’ll meet twice a week with a client for four weeks, once during class and once for encouragement and support. Female mentors will meet clients at The Garden, the Knightdale campus for women and children. Male mentors will meet male clients at the Downtown Campus in Raleigh.

Female mentors are especially needed September 14–October 9, but all are welcome. No special experience is required, and training is provided.

Ready to help someone move toward lasting stability? Contact Joy Goforth at [email protected].

There’s a renewed sense of hope growing at our Downtown Campus.

As The Garden prepares to open in Knightdale next month, we’re getting ready to welcome and walk alongside even more men in Raleigh. Through the New Life Plan, our team will meet each man with Christ-centered care, practical support, and steady encouragement as he takes courageous steps toward stability, independence, and a brighter future.

We’re thankful for every staff member who serves with compassion, every supporter who gives from the heart, and every man who bravely chooses to begin again. It is a privilege to witness God at work through this community as hope is restored, dignity is renewed, and lives begin to change.

Would you come alongside us in this next chapter? Your prayers, gifts, time, and shared encouragement help make our Downtown Campus a place where men feel welcomed, valued, and reminded that they are not alone. Together, we can help more neighbors find hope and take their next step forward through the love of Christ. Learn more at raleighrescue.org.
