Vacation time!!! ☀️🏖️ Am I the only one who thinks I can get all the projects done or read all the books when you go away?😜

Here are the curated down projects I’m taking with me and the beach reads for the week. These lists were so much longer a week ago. 😂😂 I still might have overpacked 🤷‍♀️

So close. Almost done. 🧵🏁

I’ve been working away at this all week. I’m striving for a finish and not perfection. I’m really happy with the progress and the process ❤️

How’s your week gone? What small this made you happy this week?

This artwork “One of these Things” has been on a journey…✈️

It was exhibited in France, Italy, Czech Republic, and in the US (Illinois, Pennsylvania and Virginia). 🌏

It almost didn’t make it home. It was lost but then found and now it’s safe at home. 🏠

“One of these things” was a process for me, as I learned to find my voice to express feelings, which I find hard to do in words.

This piece is my wish that we embrace differences. Different is beautiful, wonderful, inspiring and makes life and things around us interesting. It saddens me that often being different is used to divide us, introduce fear, hate or violence. We need to do better.

It’s a good day to make art! I’ve got the essentials coffee and sounds. ☕️📻

What are your essentials for the day? Or your favorite audiobook at the moment (always looking for good audiobook suggestions)?

I’m drinking a Nespresso latte, and listening to Corrine Bailey Rae to get started, and will switch to an audiobook “To Kill a Mockingbird” for the rest of the day.

Let’s get started 🎉
