A lot of candidates answer a question well... then immediately start re-explaining it, adding extra details, or trying to “prove” their answer was good enough.

But confidence often sounds much simpler than that.

The strongest candidates answer clearly, trust what they said, and move forward. Remember: clarity feels more confident than overexplaining.
