Don’t just look at numbers when looking at lighting improvements..
This client,like many, trusted a lighting company who talked them into a failed approach targeting a very low cost lighting option that left them with a very underlit and dangerous work environment. Being this is a busy distribution center operating 24/7, employees found themselves encounting more accidents and struggled with staying focused with such low light levels. Management loved the financial return with this previous option at first. But after a few years recognized the negative impact it had created. Greentech was recommended and delivered a new lighting layout that provide the improvement that has shown to be a hugh sucess. Don’t get stuck focusing on payback periods and who’s showing more energy savings on paper, those numbers mean very little when you end up having to spend more money to fix.
