There is so much a wedding coordinator does behind the scenes that often goes unnoticed in the best way. From keeping tissues ready for happy tears, to holding your bouquet when you need a moment, to having a few “secret” essentials tucked away for whatever the day brings—these are the little things that make a big difference.

Experience matters, and so do the tips and tricks that come with it. When you work with a professional coordinator, you’re not just getting someone running the timeline. You’re getting someone who is prepared for the moments you didn’t even know needed planning, and thinking ahead so you don’t have to 🤍

When I was coordinating a women’s conference this past fall, my client had one simple request that she said would make her day: “If you’re free, can you bring me a Pepsi when I get off stage?”

You better believe I made sure I was there every time she stepped off stage with a Pepsi in hand. You can see how happy it made her! 🩷

As a coordinator, I am part of so many moving pieces behind the scenes—dimming lights, cueing music, working with vendors, cleaning up spaces, and making sure everything flows without interruption. It is a collection of small decisions and actions that most people never notice, but together they have a big impact on the success of the day.

Those little details are where I shine, but I truly THRIVE off these small personal moments in between. Getting to create moments where people feel seen, cared for, and genuinely happy in the middle of a busy day is always the best part 🤍

One of the many things I consider as your wedding coordinator is where moments like the bouquet toss take place. It may seem simple, but making sure we’re clear of chandeliers, low ceilings, ceiling fans, posts, and other unexpected obstacles can save us from a “memorable” bouquet toss for all the wrong reasons. I can help choose the best location… but once that bouquet leaves your hand, it’s officially out of my control🤭

Pro tip from the dance floor:
If your wedding shoes are more “pretty” than practical… bring a backup pair 💃🏻🎶

BUT if you’re being introduced, giving a speech, or part of the formal dances, wait until AFTER those moments to switch into your comfy shoes so you still have that formal look for photos!

If you know her, you know she’s truly one of my favorite humans. She’s my right hand in every sense. She always knows what needs to be done and shows up every time ready to give her all. I leave every event respecting her more than the time before because she truly goes above and beyond without ever needing to be asked.

She keeps me laughing constantly, somehow never keeps her clipboard on her 😂, and has this way of making me slow down and relax when I need it most.

She gets along with everyone effortlessly, clients and vendors love her, and she somehow makes even the busiest days feel lighter while still getting everything done. I’m beyond lucky to have her on this team and it still feels crazy that it’s only been just over a year working together.
