We are open today 1/26/26!

The roads might have slush on them, and the sidewalks might be tricky to walk on, but Smooth Joe Coffee is open today for those that want a great cup of coffee!!

We are open for Boxing Day.... (That's the day after Christmas.)

We will be open normal hours, 7am - 3pm.... unless it continues to be as slow as it has been so far this morning. 😁

Dutch Cold Brew was made today (6/21/25)...

Today I brewed with the Dutch Cold Brewer some Burundi Kayanza Kimbingo Station which was roasted to a medium roast level. It will be available from Monday until it has sold out. That often takes about two weeks. If you want the "Dutch Cold Brew" when you order "cold brew" be sure to ask for the "Dutch Cold Brew".

Roasting Coffee tonight...

Hi All,
I was just sitting here at the shop, waiting for the roaster and cleanStream to cool down from the roasting I was doing today. I roasted some Dark (SS-427), SJ Blend, Decaf Espresso, and Decaf Drip today.

The SJ Blend is currently 75% Guatemala from Xinebajul and 25% Burundi from Kayanza. Roasted to a City++ (medium roast level).

The SS-427 is also the same 75% Guatemala from Xinebajul and 25% Burundi from Kayanza. Roasted to a French roast level. [I also roasted some to Burnt on my roast scale. :-) That coffee is being shipped to Depew NY for a special customer.]

The Decaf Espresso is a blend from my supplier Sweet Maria's.

The Decaf Drip is a nice coffee from Ethiopia Goudina Guji that was Swiss Water Processed to decaffeinate it. I roasted this to a City (light) roast level.

Hi All, We are open today 1/22/25. Come see us at the shop!

We are open on Saturday 01/11/25. Hope to see you at the shop today. I'm planning to roast some coffee today, and we have Sue in the kitchen making the tasty treats, and Blaze on the espresso machine making the tasty espresso drinks... We may have others come in depending on how many customers we get today.
