Dancing With Fire

I’ve been enjoying creating texture in wood lately, I want people to feel like they can have multiple sensory experiences with the art in front of them.

Coasters are one of those everyday objects in life that have a lot of symbolism that you might not necessarily recognize at first. Respect, invitation, community, commitment, hope, representation of values, collaboration, just to name a few. I’ve thought a lot lately about how subconsciously we use objects to make judgments about life around us. I hope the people you invite into your home around a table with coasters sprawled about see you for who you really are. I’m honored to help make coasters for people to try and achieve that.
