You're engaged! Congratulations! So what now? Last week I told you it was time to enjoy the moment - but now it's time to announce it to your friends and family.

This is an exciting phase of your life, but be prepared for rapid fire questions (such as when is the wedding). You don't need to have all the answers, just have fun and keep the conversation light.

Did you know ... the first "space wedding" happened in 2003 !! A woman married her partner while she was in Texas and he was still in space. Takes destination wedding to a whole new meaning doesn't it 👽👩‍🚀🚀

Why do you need a wedding planner? Or day of coordinator? Because sometimes, you as the bride or the groom just can't be there for each minute. You need to ENJOY your wedding. So what happens if there's a what if?

What if ... there's a big WHOOPS in the day of timeline?

For starters, have a timeline. Wedding planners want a timeline not just for the day’s events in general but very specifically for the production of the day (they’ll map out when vendors are supposed to arrive, when the ceremony begins, when you are supposed to walk down aisle, and so on).

A timeline gives everyone involved a framework of what to expect. But we said it before and we’ll say it again—there are just some things you cannot control. The weather, the traffic, an injury (hopefully not you or the groom). Your day-of schedule needs to have some built-in flexibility for circumstances beyond your control.

If something unexpected does occur, your planner will look at the schedule and figure out where to cut back and how to catch up without you, let alone any of your guests, even noticing.

First and foremost - enjoy the moment. That's right. Don't let the imminent wedding details overshadow what just happened. The Proposal. That moment stands alone as a special event - let it sink in. Enjoy each others company and this quiet time together before sharing the news and starting the planning process.

The last day of 2023 is here - can you believe it?!?! When reflecting over the past year, what is something that you accomplished? This year I experienced the biggest growth in my business, but also hit some big setbacks at the end of the year - as do all small businesses. But no matter what, I knew everything happens for a reason. Now - I am SO EXCITED for whats to come in 2024 🎉

I’d like to share a moment of vulnerability. I’ve been working on so many projects behind the scenes. And here is a peek into what that looks like.

I’m incredibly proud of how much work ice put into this passion project. It’s taken so much mental energy, networking and listening to those who know more or better than myself.
I’ve learned things like, openly accepting where my limits are, accepting opportunities to learn, to create something new together in a collaborative aspect but mostly learn what is needed to create something worth while.
I don’t think I can really express this fully without a full heart. I know my projects aren’t even close to done… but I already have so many people to thank and be grateful for.
Take this journey with me. There is room for everyone to join. My company motto hasn’t changed nor will it, “Creative collaboration over competition” any day, all day. There is enough for everyone, I genuinely want everyone to win. So, I’ll say this now, as I’ve been saying it, I’m building my empire.
I know what I’m doing may seem inauspicious but I believe in me and I believe in this journey. I can’t nor will I stop now.

Thank you so much to each and everyone whom I have had the highest regard in crossing paths and learning from. You are the very reason of how I got here. But it was also my tenacity, my unwaving faith in myself and my goals. I won’t stop until I see it brought to life. 2024 hasn’t seen anything yet, the plans I have in store is merely the beginning of something absolutely magical.
