Our beloved Art in Bloom celebration returns from April 26 through April 28! Mark your calendars to join us next month to explore 45 art-inspired floral arrangements, learn from master floral designer Semia Dunne and celebrate the return of spring.

Over the past several months, artist Timothy Hyunsoo Lee has been guiding more than 150 students through the process of making cyanotype prints depicting their families—both biological and chosen. Their artworks will be stitched together to form a large-scale installation that you can see in May in our Linde Family Wing for Contemporary Art. The children come to the MFA from 12 local after-school organizations that participate in our Community Arts Initiative, generously supported by the Linde Family Foundation. The program, now in its 19th year, introduces youth to the Museum’s collection and the art-making process, while also helping them understand how art can be an important part of their lives. 🎵: Charlestown Boys & Girls Club
