Meet Daisy. We found her on the highway, skin and bones with bugs swarming her. After a while of coaxing her with pets, praise, and beef jerky, she let us pick her up into the car.
We were just passing through the area, on vacation, and found a rescue to take her to. After checking up on her a few days later though, we found out the rescue was full, no owners were found, and she was going to be taken to a kill shelter.
Seeming to be a pit bull mix - and brindle, another negative - she was likely a few days away from death.
After a day of driving, she was here with us in North Carolina. We're going to take care of her until we find her forever home. She has a vet appointment this week.
She's sweet and docile, good with our other dogs, and just wants love.
If you're interested in meeting her, message us here or email [email protected].

Adventures of Dood!!
Had a great trip with Mom and Dad. Even ran into the woods to hunt some deer and boar to surprise them. They were super happy when I got home! They washed off all the mud I worked so hard to get on, but that's okay, I got it all back on again fast.
