Expect home prices to continue their upward trend but moving more modestly than pandemic-times, increasing around 2% to 4.8%, depending on your zip code. Despite potential softening in demand, the lag in inventory keeps prices high.
💰The Median sale price in Wake County: $486,000
📐Average $ per square foot: $229
⬆️Difference year-over-year: Up 1.5%
💸Mortgage Rates–
Good news seems to be on the horizon with a slight drop in mortgage rates in August.
The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate \*might\* fall in the ballpark of 6.5% offering buyers some relief.
