The Shelby Dress from features a flattering silhouette with unique design elements, including a twist collar, gathered and draped sleeves, and ruching at both the front and back. The pattern also includes a standard skirt base without ruching and offers options for elbow-length or long sleeves, along with three different skirt lengths: 55 cm, 60 cm, and 75 cm. I chose the shortest skirt length, with ruching at both the front and back, and opted for elbow sleeves.

The pattern recommends using jersey knit fabrics that have good drape and offer at least 50% stretch horizontally and 25% vertically. I used ITY fabric from my stash, which worked well because it was light enough for gathering and had a good drape.

The collar was the trickiest part of the construction, but after taking my time to read through the instructions, it turned out to be simpler than I had expected!

This is a beautiful pattern, and I’m already considering making another dress!

The T-Shirt dress from that I made in sweater knit is one of my most worn dresses in the cold season, so I had to make another one! This time I chose the mini length with round neck and 3/4 sleeves. I used rib sweater knit again from

A quick and easy sew that I’m probably going to make again in the future!

I made another Sandy from but this time in a sweater knit from (if you scroll in my feed you can find another version in French Terry). I had to opt for the cuffs in a different fabric just because I didn’t have quite enough of the main one. I used brushed sweater knit for cuffs and neckband, which I’ve got in a scrap box a while ago! I think it looks very pretty and the mustard accents make the sweater pop!

I recently made the Dreamy Drape Add-On from which has been on my sewing list for way too long! I opted for the mini skirt and 3/4 sleeves options. The fabric I used is a rib knit that I’ve got from and I’m very happy with how it drapes. Check out the last post on my blog to know more.

This is my second time making the Back Tie Dress from the first time I used a two way stretch knit, while this time I opted for a lightweight silky woven. I love that this pattern can be made in both knit and woven fabric! I hacked this version a little bit by adding bra cups in the top! Check out the last post on my blog to know more.
