So excited to be in Charlotte for the American Diabetes Association Step Out Walk to end diabetes. Ironically this is the first  ADA event that I have been a part of in a decade and a half - that I have not been emcee!!! 😂😂

I am actually here to welcome everyone and to walk of course - as the chair of the Community Leadership Board in North Carolina.

woke up super excited about the American Diabetes Association NC Tour de Cure this morning… I wish mother nature was as excited as I am. Weather isn’t on our side this morning- the first ride has been pushed back and riders are sheltering for now! North Carolina weather can be tricky - but the fight against diabetes - rain or shine - CONTINUES!!! Thanks to everyone who donated to the cause.

What a great time today as emcee of the Holly Springs MLK Celebration. Took part in the symbolic walk and then the wonderful program.
