One of the latest Backwoods makeovers. This 2016 Freewheeler received a lot attention from Alan. He started the project around a set of SMT Machine Illusion Raspberry 26” front and 22” rear wheels. We added a Star Racing Torqstar cam and a Baker Drivetrain comp with Power Vision tuning to get it rolling. Worked in a SBD tank cover and a set of Yaffee rear fenders and roll pan. Joe helped us out with some black and raspberry powder and Mike brought in some super slick paint with the Raspberry logo on the rear tub.

When the cheaper guy tells you there is no need to clean you oil tank after cam chest failure. This is what you’re sending through your new oil pump. Do it right or not at all!

Hot weather is coming, don’t risk that melting asphalt or sand to cause your bike to fall over! Our granddaughter and CEO of Backwoods Customs has just made these she is selling for $20 each.

Never thought I would have to post something like this as we deal with a lot of respectful and courteous people. We work from 9:30-5. I need to know what would have given this crowd the idea it is ok to roll this up in the driveway at 12:30 at night. IT IS NOT OK and I am not sure who you are I am pretty sure I don’t have this bike on my calendar for repair and we primarily work on appointment only. You need to call me ASAP

Powersports community wide please pay attention in the coming days to the fuel you are pumping. Unless adequate adjustments are made to your machine I strongly urge you to NOT run the E15 fuels. This has been a long time fight for our community and with this push it could possibly be slid into unlabeled pumps and could potentially cause catastrophic failure to your engine. E15 is really hot slow burning fuel and superheats the cylinders on our engines often causing sticking of valves. If you every get fuel and shortly notice poor idling and or spark knock “detonation”. If you notice this immediately stop and add a bottle of the best Octane booster you can find and put the entire bottle on that tank of gas. Be vigilant, and we look forward the a great bike season.

Then came the big one: "And then just today, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin—if you missed it—in consultation with the Department of Energy, announced a temporary emergency fuel waiver to allow nationwide sales of E15, gasoline blended with 15 percent ethanol, to remove all federal impediments to selling E10 gasoline across the country."
