Technical Rescuer: Passenger Vehicle Awareness

The Emergency Services Training Center is offering the Technical Rescuer: Passenger Vehicle Awareness course. This course is designed to provide emergency responders with an understanding of modern passenger vehicle construction, safety systems, alternative fuel vehicles, and the hazards associated with vehicle rescue operations. Students will learn how evolving vehicle technology impacts emergency response and rescue techniques.

The Lumber Bridge Fire Department will be hosting an NC Fire Rescue Commission Fireground Ops 9 class this June! This course is designed to challenge firefighters with advanced fireground operations, strategy, tactics, and decision-making skills in realistic scenarios. This class is part of the NC Fire Rescue Firefighter certification program
