One of my favorite things to do when traveling is try all of the local restaurants! I had a great weekend of eating in Quincy, Il with the duck-fat-fried (!!) Korean Fried Chicken the prime rib at The Patio Resturant, and a killer bolognese at I mis-scheduled myself and missed the extremely interesting Thai goulash with elbow noodles at Thai Delight. I love the innovation, creativity, and excellence of local businesses feeding their community with good food!

I had the immense pleasure to facilitate an express in Quincy, IL in partnership with and the - congratulations to all of the involved artists (tagged) and my co-facilitators and Thank you for inviting me into your vibrant arts scene!

Pre-concert lunch at - we will be coming back to try their sticky ribs and The Montrose (goat cheese, arugula, prosciutto and balsamic glaze!!).

We got our kittens’ portraits done by - the first one through an fundraiser. They look so great on the wall! And the bag they came in was a big hit, too.

Congratulations to the artist that attended the Artist INC Express this weekend in El Paso! Thank you to my wonderful co-facilitators and for being the best! Thank you to for hosting us and and for bringing us to such a vibrant community. I hope to be back soon!

Stopped by Gozo’s Ice Cream on the walk to my hotel and had some of their famous dark chocolate chipotle ice cream. I love chocolate and chilis, so this was right up my alley. I paired it with the tres leches, a great combination!

Taconeta in downtown El Paso is amazing! I got the carnitas and the pollo tacos, the green beans and the grilled elote.

The world famous enchiladas at - with red sauce, because my waiter said it was better than the green that they are known for. Man, it was AMAZING!
