Meet Veronica, one of our 2026 CARE Fellows!

Veronica graduated from UMass Amherst with a bachelor's degree in Psychology, a minor in Women, Gender, Sexuality Studies, and received her Social Work certificate.

Her favorite aspects about being a fellow are the weekly supervisions and seminars. “Weekly supervisions offer so much support, and the seminars are extremely informative and a great learning experience while you start out in the field.”

Veronica’s favorite memories from her fellowship include the heart-to-heart conversations she’s had with the kids and taking them out on activities like getting ice cream!

In her free time, Veronica loves to crochet, watch movies, and hang out with her cats.
