Last night, 15 women gathered around the fire at Bi***es Ablaze and released the contracts they no longer agree to: people pleaser, approval seeker, outcast, ect. Patterns we’ve outgrown, identities we never chose, roles we played to stay safe or loved.
One by one, those contracts went into the flames. I tended that fire and somewhere in the burning, the ashes of the contracts joined together and folded themselves into the shape of a giant rose and it stayed for a long time. I got to witness it bloom and hold its shape in the heart of the fire.
That rose is what’s underneath all the contracts. It’s collective feminine wisdom. It’s what’s left when a group of women stop performing and start remembering who they really are.🌹🔥

🔥 Life is a bitch.
Not sometimes. Not just when it’s convenient. Really a bitch.
Life takes things from us without warning. It hands us grief we didn’t ask for. Loss that levels us. Pain that doesn’t come with an explanation or a timeline. Suffering that makes us question everything we thought we knew…
Life is not fluffy or soft.
And if you’ve been trying to meet life with anything less than your full, raw, fierce power, well you know exactly how that goes.
But here’s what I also know:
The same force that shakes us to the ground is the same force that can transform us. Life is not just hard, it is alive with mystery, with power, with gifts we haven’t learned to use yet.
Fire is one of them. 🔥
Fire doesn’t coddle you or placate to you. It meets you exactly where you are, in your grief, in your anger, in the place where you’ve forgotten who the hell you are and it offers you the chance to reclaim yourself…
It is the place where you walk through what has tried to break you and come out the other side remembering: I am still here. I am still lit.
This is what Bi***es Ablaze is for.
This is for the woman who has been through it. Who is in it. Who knows there is something fiercer and truer in her that hasn’t had a place to come alive yet.

🌹 This morning I went out to collect Rosa Rugosa, the wild Beach Rose, and my heart is so full.
She doesn’t stay long, and that’s part of what makes her so precious. Rosa Rugosa is one of my most beloved plant allies deeply connected to the heart, to hope and to healing. She carries an ancient energy that restores what grief and life have worn down, opens the heart back to love, and reminds us that we are worthy of our own tenderness.
I’m crafting a special rose water with these fresh blooms as part of my ceremonial preparations for what’s coming in three weeks. These waters will be woven into our ceremony and healing work together. 💧🍄🌹

A bitch stands her ground. A bitch speaks her truth. A bitch rises. But a group of bi***es? We pull each other up and set the whole room ablaze. 🔥
We light each other up. We fan each other’s flames. We show up for one another in ways this world never taught us to expect we would.
This isn’t one woman finding her fire. This is all of us together becoming the inferno. 🔥
