Updates on Grafted Apple Trees in garage and Air Pruning Beds on the Farm. The trees with shoots popping out on the graft are successful. Nearly all the Honey Crisp are good takes but still waiting on the Golden Delicious. I did a Tongue and Whip Graft on the Honey Crisps and just a whip graft on the Golden Delicious. Im starting to wonder if I should have taken the time and do them all tongue and whip but we shall see. With the Air Pruning Beds I have Bur Oak and Japanese Maple popping up. Considering how little dirt I used (leaves, sand, compost) and foraged the seeds this is super exciting. This is a very good new addition to the farm. Wilson Tree Farm mid April 2026
