π¦ Happy Thanksgiving from Advanced Pediatrics PC! π
Today we give thanks for our amazing patients, families, and community who make every day special. π
Thanksgiving isnβt just about the feast β itβs about gratitude, togetherness, and sharing.
π Fun & Historic Facts:
β¨ The first Thanksgiving was celebrated in 1621 between the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag Tribe β a three-day harvest festival!
π₯§ Pumpkin pie wasnβt on the original menu β but venison, corn, and seafood were!
π€ In 1863, President Abraham Lincoln made Thanksgiving a national holiday, encouraging unity during difficult times.
𧑠Family Safety Tip:
Keep little ones safe in the kitchen β create a βkid-free zoneβ around the stove and hot dishes. Burns are more common during the holidays, so letβs cook safely together! π©βπ³πΆ
π©βπ§βπ¦ This year, letβs pause to give thanks for good health, family, and community.
And donβt forget β gratitude is good for your health, too! π

πΊπΈ Honoring Our Heroes This Veterans Day πΊπΈ
Today we pause to honor all the brave men and women who have served our country.
ποΈ Did you know? Veterans Day was first called Armistice Day and was established to mark the end of World War I on November 11, 1918. It became Veterans Day in 1954 to recognize all who served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ Teaching Tip for Families:
Use today as an opportunity to talk to your children about courage, gratitude, and service. Encourage them to thank a veteran, write a card, or learn about someone in your community who served.
β€οΈ From all of us at Advanced Pediatrics PC, we thank every veteran for their service and sacrifice.

πΌβ¨ DΓa de Mu***os: Honoring Life and Love β¨πΌ
Today we celebrate DΓa de Mu***os, a beautiful tradition deeply rooted in Hispanic culture β a time to remember and honor the loved ones who live forever in our hearts. π
π―οΈ Did you know? DΓa de Mu***os dates back more than 3,000 years to ancient Aztec civilizations, who believed that once a year, the spirits of loved ones returned to visit their families. πΈ
Itβs a moment to teach our little ones about love, family, and remembrance β showing them that even though our loved ones may be gone, their spirit, laughter, and memories stay with us always.
At Advanced Pediatrics PC, we proudly celebrate the traditions that connect us through generations and remind us that love never fades. β€οΈ
