June 1988 - 38 years ago, RIP Magazine crowned Guns N' Roses as "metal's new supergroup."

This Day in VRistory: June 17, 2003 - Velvet Revolver attended the world premiere of "Hulk" starring Eric Bana, at Universal Studios in Universal City, California.

The song "Set Me Free" appeared during the end credits and was featured on the movie soundtrack. A slightly different version was later used on their debut album, Contraband, with new mixing.
