Weโre proud to be endorsed by the New York State Public Employees Federation (Official), a union representing more than 57,000 professional, scientific, and technical public employees across our state.
PEF members keep New York running. They are nurses, social workers, engineers, doctors, parole officers, IT specialists, counselors, lawyers, teachers, therapists, and public servants working in every corner of state government.
Their work is essential, and so is their power at the bargaining table. When public employees organize, they win fair contracts, safer workplaces, stronger protections, and the respect every worker deserves.
This campaign is about standing with the people who serve our communities every day. I am honored to have PEF in this fight with us and proud to stand with public-sector workers and every New Yorker fighting for dignity on the job.

Proud to earn the endorsement of Citizens Union, one of New Yorkโs leading independent voices for honest government and real accountability.
Good government is not abstract. It shapes whether working families can trust the people who represent them, whether public dollars are spent with integrity, and whether our democracy remains open to everyday New Yorkers instead of controlled by special interests.
For more than a century, Citizens Union has pushed New York to be more transparent, more responsive, and more democratic. Their work reminds us that reform is not just about process โ it is about power, fairness, and making sure government serves the public.
I am honored to stand with Citizens Union in the fight for a democracy that works for all of us.

Iโm honored to have the support of NYSUT - A Union of Professionals, a powerful force for public education, healthcare, and working people across New York.
As a NYSUT member, this endorsement means a great deal to me personally. I know the strength of this union comes from the educators, school staff, higher education professionals, healthcare workers, and retirees who organize every day for dignity and respect.
NYSUT members are teaching our children, supporting our schools, caring for patients, keeping our campuses running, and fighting for the public institutions our communities depend on. With nearly 700,000 members and more than 1,200 local unions, NYSUT represents grassroots labor power at its best.
In the State Senate, I will always stand with educators, healthcare workers, public-sector workers, students, patients, and the labor movement. Fully funded public schools, strong public colleges, fair contracts, and quality care are not optional. They are what our communities deserve.

In NYC, honoring Indigenous peoples means centering the stories, traditions, and resilience of Indigenous peoples from around the world. Today, we commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Saut Community Dance Ensemble of Bukidnon by proudly recognizing the Indigenous communities of Bukidnon, Mindanao, in the Southern Philippines, whose rich cultural heritage, ancestral knowledge, and deep connection to the land continue to inspire generations ๐ต๐ญ

Grateful to be endorsed by Voters For Animal Rights!
Animal protection must be reflected in the choices we make, the laws we pass, and the budgets we fight for. VFAR has helped lead that work by organizing humane voters, advancing stronger animal protection laws, and holding elected officials accountable to the animals and families they serve.
In the State Senate, we will champion legislation to provide tax credits for pet owners and help ease the rising costs of caring for an animal. No family should have to choose between their own financial stability and the well-being of a beloved pet.
This work is about compassion in action. It means preventing cruelty, strengthening legal protections, and building a New York where animals are treated with dignity and care.
Weโre proud to stand with Voters For Animal Rights in the fight for a more humane future.

From local businesses and cultural celebrations to civic engagement and volunteerism, Nepali residents help make Ridgewood a more diverse, welcoming, and dynamic place to call home ๐ณ๐ตI was happy to join them at the Nepalese Cutural & Community Center to discuss priority issues impacting their neighborhood.
