⛽ 😮‍💨 Gas prices got you down? Best way to tackle car dependence is by expanding public transit! QueensLink does this exceptionally well, reducing more vehicle miles traveled than both IBX and SAS Phase 2 combined!

Why are we advocating for the M+G service pattern on QueensLink?

Here’s what NYU’s Ridership Report found!

Photos from QueensLink's post 03/31/2026

In our new report using STOPS data from NYU, the QueensLink corridor sees 75,000 daily riders! That’s 92% more than than the last estimate of 39,000 daily riders in the MTA’s 20 Year Needs Assessment.

Where are these riders coming from? Of the 65,000 new boardings (riders induced by QueensLink, distinct from the 10,000 riders who divert from other subway routes like the A), Queens Boulevard and the Rockaways both see a healthy increase, along with 20,700 new boardings at the 4 new stations!

If you thought those platforms were packed already, just wait. But QueensLink tackles this directly. More trains = Less crowding.
