The Maryland State Fair was great fun for the Paddock Place group. Two days at the fair. First the thoroughbred show and then the youth show. Thank you to all the people who made the Maryland State fair possible!!

HUNTER/EQUITATION:
LEAD LINE
Open to riders 8 years old and under as of Jan. 1 of current year. May cross enter into Open Walk/Trot only. (Pony or Horse)
OPEN WALK/TROT
Open to horses and ponies. Open to riders of all ages.
OPEN WALK/TROT/CANTER
Open to riders of all ages.
BEGINNER RIDER - Cross Rails
Open to beginning riders who have only been showing for 2 years
MINI STIRRUP
Open to riders 10yrs old and under as of Jan. 1, of current year. (Pony or Horse)
SHORT STIRRUP - Cross Rails
Open to riders under 14 years old as of Jan. 1 of current year. Horse/rider combinations may not cross enter into classes above cross rails.(Pony or Horse)
LONG STIRRUP - Cross Rails
Open to riders 15 years old and above as of Jan. 1 of current year. Horse/rider combinations may not cross enter into classes above cross rails.
CROSS RAIL HUNTER
Open to horses and ponies. May trot on course. Horse/rider combinations may cross enter jumping classes no higher than 18"
HOPEFUL HUNTER - 18"
Open to horses and ponies. May trot on course
OPEN EQUITATION - 2'
Open to riders of all ages.
Baby Green Hunter - 2'
Open to horses and ponies in their first 3 years of showing. May trot on course
Low Child/Adult Hunter - 2'
Open to riders of all ages. Open to horse and ponies. Adults may ride ponies.
Modified Hunter - 2' or 2'3"
Open to riders of all ages.
Child/Adult Hunter - 2'6"
